Randy Drewett is the founder of Randy Drewett, PC with principal offices located in Beaumont,
Texas. The firm is limited to the practice of Estate Planning and Elder Law. Randy is Board
Certified as a specialist in two(2) fields: (1) Estate Planning and Probate Law and (2) Elder Law. Estate Planning includes Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Medical Directives, Probate, Estate Administration and Will Contests. Elder Law includes all aspects of Disability and Nursing Home Planning, such as Special Needs Trusts and Medicaid Planning.

He has been a Board Certified
specialist in the field of Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal
Specialization since 1989. He is also Board Certified in Elder Law as a "Certified Elder Law
Attorney (CELA)" by the National Elder Law Foundation as recognized by the State Bar of Texas.

Randy received his undergraduate degree from Lamar University, his law degree from South Texas
College of Law in Houston, and has been licensed to practice law in Texas for 30 years. He is a
former Municipal Judge and Chief of the Trial Division of the Jefferson County District Attorney's
office. Randy is a 19 year member of the College of the State Bar, a member of the Southeast Texas
Estate Planning Council, and a 13 year member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
His radio show, now in its 10th year, can be heard on KLVI AM 560 (Beaumont) every Thursday
evening at 7:00.
Randy is a regular speaker for the State Bar of Texas, the University of Texas and the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Randy’s daughter, Randi Lee Thompson, the firm's legal assistant for the past 9 years, received her
Bachelor of Science in Communications from Lamar. Her brother, Richard, graduated with a
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in May of 2005. Randy, Robin, Sierra, and
Chloe attend Westgate Memorial Baptist Church in Beaumont.
