Terry Wood is the principal attorney of Terry W. Wood, P.C. Terry is a native of Jefferson County, where he graduated from Lamar University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.He attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1987.

While in law school, Terry was a member of the South Texas Law Review. Terry is a Board Certified specialist in the fields of (1) Civil Trial Law and (2) Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to Estate and Probate Litigation in conjunction with Randy Drewett. Terry is a very active alumnus of Lamar University in Beaumont where he served a President of the Cardinal Club in 1999-2000. He is married to a Certified Paralegal, Cindy Wood, C.L.A. and is the father of two sons, Wesley and Dylan.
