Years ago, people going into business had three choices: Sole Proprietorship, General Partnership or Corporation. The law of the business world has certainly changed over the past 10 years. Available entities now include such things as C-Corporations, S-Corporations, LLC’s, LLP’s, PLLC’s, PLLP’s, FLP’s, LP’s, PC’s, PA’s, Domestic and Off-shore Trusts of different types and others. In an era of frequent litigation, the asset protection available through proper entity structure is of utmost importance.

David Cragle practices exclusively in the area of Business Law. This includes properly structuring new business entities for proper tax treatment, reforming existing businesses to take advantage of better tax options, implementing business continuation plans such as “Buy-Sell” arrangements, formation of corporations, partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, Professional Corporations and Professional Associations. He is also involved in mergers and acquisitions of businesses. A substantial portion of our business practice involves the structuring of asset protection entities, such as Family Limited Partnerships. David has substantial experience in dealing with physician groups for proper entity structure and asset protection.
